No, not working on it today or too soon....In the next few years. I'm sooooo ready. Eventually, it will happen, and I will look like a Weeble-Wobble :D

2. But you might feel like a space alien.
I always did. I thought it would feel totally natural but it was always just strange.

Would you want a boy or a girl? Don't give me that "I just want a healthy baby" crap.

4. Oh you say that now
Just wait for the sciatica, the heartburn, the pee-all-the-time feeling, the rude strangers who want to rub your belly or tell you to lay off the wine, the physical awakwardness... I could go on and on. IMHO, pregnancy is highly overrated. Raising the person is the great work.

57. You *SO* want to go on the Swan Boats!!!

or here in da QZ, we have...

This: Abigail Adams Cairn, on Franklin Street, just up the hill from the Adams Birthplaces. This is the spot from whih Abigail and her son, John Quincy Adams, watched Charlestown burn and heard the roar of guns and cannons during the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775.

or this: Adams National Historic Site "Old House"
The original house was built by Leonard Vassall, a sugar planter from Jamaica. It was purchased by John and Abigail Adams in 1787 and was renovated and enlarged by Abigail during John's presidency. This was the home of the Adams family until 1927.

and this: BankBoston Building
Originally established as the Quincy Stone Bank in 1836, this was the first bank in the United States to raise its capital funds through public subscription.

Actually, the library is da bomb :D

Thomas Crane Public Library
Memorial Hall was designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, foremost architect of his time. The stained glass windows were crafted by John LaFarge. Albert Crane built the Library as a memorial to his father, Thomas Crane, who grew up in Quincy and learned the stone cutters trade. Moving to New York City, he gained fame and fortune in the stone trade. This building is a National Landmark.

"I can't wait until she sleeps through the night," and then "I can't wait until she goes off to college," then "I can't wait until she calls me again," then "I can't wait for the grandkids," then "I can't wait for her monthly visit at the nursing home."

Just so you can plan your life. :)

52. Oh, it is a joy
My son is 4 months old and it had been close to 9 year since I had his older sister. Every single bit is wonderful. From hearing the first heartbeat, to seeing the baby in the first ultrasound, to feeling the baby move inside of you, to the feelings of labor (which are intense, however, I had both of my babies quickly. My daughter with Staidol (sp), my son with no drugs. It progressed too quickly to have any pain killer. The pain is forgotten once you see that baby that was growing inside of you for 36+ weeks.) to holding that little babe in your arms. Yes, there are times where you think that you cannot do it, and times when you are too tired to carry on your daily duties (I worked full time 45+ hours a week, hubby worked the same.) and do simple house chores. However, you have plenty of loving support to help you through these times. You are one lucky person to have two wonderful people that love you and will be there to support you and enjoy this new adventure in your lives when the time comes. I applaud you all for the love that you all have for each other. I know that this is in a couple of years running, however, when it does happen, I will be delighted for you all!!

61. I second that
I have to wait a few more years though...school first...then I'll be working on Baby #2. Hoping for a girl the next time around.

I was almost 3 months pregnant before we found out the first time, never had a day of morning sickness. I did manage to get a stomach virus though. Uck!

I LOVED being pregnant. The wobbling, have-to-pee-right-now moments, cravings, mood swings, weight gain...all of it. :)

Good luck to you when you do start trying. :hi:
