Let's put together our Xmas Shopping list for the Bush Regime |
|
Suppose we were required to go out and buy a gift for someone in the Bush Regime (you'll get the money in the form of a 'tax credit'. Work with me here).
What present would you get and who would you get it for? Important Note: Whatever gift you get for this person he/she would be required to use it.
Me, I would get a couple of books for Bush's reading pleasure. Since we know Bush can't read past a 4th grade level, I'd get the books on Audio tape and even hire an English teacher to help with the big words. Books on Tape would include "The Great Unraveling" by Paul Krugman, a selection of Noam Chomsky to read, Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau and The Constitution/Bill of Rights (with a political scholar there to explain what the various amendments stand for).
What's on YOUR shopping list!!!

2. Are you talking about the book or just a list of all their lies |
|
Because if it's the latter, thank goodness we opened Tongass National Park for logging because we'll need to destroy that many trees just to print all the lies coming from that administration!!!!

To George From Sara: A big atlas with nice fold-out maps and bright colours, plus a very knowledgeable geopolitics expert (with a liberal bent, of course) to explain that there really IS a "rest of the world" outside of the United States, and that this so-called "rest of the world" is a really big place whose concerns don't always happen to match up with the US's best interests, and why, and so that he can learn something about the next place he wants to bomb before he does it. :)
To Dick from Sara: A copy of Sun Tzu's _The Art of War_, which probably says more about peace than he knows, and a selection of the works of Noam Chomsky.
To Donald from Sara: A copy of Roget's Thesaurus to help avoid any more of those nasty Yogi Berraisms, _The Story of My Experiments with Truth_ by Mahatma Gandhi, and _National Security Through Civilian-Based Defense_ by Gene Sharp.
To Colin from Sara: "On the Duty of Civil Disobedience" by Henry David Thoreau, plus an excerpt from "Machine Gun in the Clown's Hand" spoken word disc by Jello Biafra on 'how NOT to sell out.'
To Condoleeza from Sara: _Fall of the Soviet Union_ by Harvey Miles, and a course in remedial education so that she can deliver better briefings to George.
And special Shadow Cabinet gift to Henry K. from Sara: An all-expenses paid trip to the Hague, there to spend an indeterminate amount of time sitting in the lap of luxury inside the bulletproof "Defendant's" booth, answering for war crimes committed in more countries than I care to list here.
