dammit! I have mice
I had a beautiful new screen door built that doesn't latch properly and now I have mice in my house! We also have 2 cats. Ritz is a 7yo neutered, declawed male. He's interested but I don't think he's a killer, up to the job. The new kitten is 7 wks old, spayed female, fully clawed but still in isolation as recommended by the humane society. Pet safe solutions please! (besides getting the damn door fixed. that's a whole 'nother issue. I foolishly paid a guy cash to build a custom door.)

Help! I want no mousies!!!!

2. Havahart traps
No-kill traps - bait with peanut butter. Mice can't resist peanut butter. The traps for mice are small enough that I don't think even the kitten could get in trouble with it. They work well and then you can release the little varmint somewhere far away (and preferably not too close to someone else's house).

5. Do you need to borrow "Bear"?
He has full claws. Maybe that's why we've never had a mouse in our house (none that I know of anyway).

8. Oh, well...
...he doesn't travel too well, unfortunately. He hypo salivates in the car, on the way to the vet's office...he scares the jeebus out of people on the way there, too...looking out the car window with his big mouth open...showing all his teeth. He really is a sweetie. But, a ferocious hunter, when he needs to be!

7. We had a mouse. Once.
It took me about a week to figure out where the smell was coming from, finally found the little fella starved to death behind the fridge.

Two Siberian Huskies kept him there for who knows how long. My littlel predators. :)

10. I had mice and rats and despite all the poisons I put out
nothing worked. I saw a device advertised on either HSN or QVC. I don't remember which. Anyway, it's a repellent that you plug into an electrical outlet and it gets rid of the critters. At least it works for me. Check it out at www.lentek or call (888)-3 LENTEK.

15. I got them last winter,
My front door blew open in the middle of the night last winter and about half a dozen mice moved in. I tried everything, but all I caught was myself and my dog who needed a visit to the vet afterwards.

The vet told me about these green "Victor" mouse traps that would capture the mouse alive. You fill up the trap with a mouse buffet and the mice just wander in. I caught all of them within a few days and I released them in a park. One of them actually just sat in the open trap looking at me as though he wanted to stay.
