Preferably one of those big, awkward ones that don't collapse.
This will ensure that, no matter what the forecast says, you will never, ever get rained on. :banghead:

Especially where I live, where it can, and will, go from downpour to practically cloudless in less than ten minutes. Which leaves me looking like an idiot, carrying this thing all over the place when it's not even raining.
And yes, I know there are umbrellas that collapse small enough to fit into a bag, but I don't like those. Not only do they break like a small collection of sticks in a stiff breeze, but they store lots of water in their folds when you collapse them. At least the full-length variety are easy to dry off, even if they're conspicuous.
