5. I twisted my ankle standing up yesterday.

I noticed that Wake Forest beat NC State by 2 which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned except for the fact that Edwards went to NC State and Jesse Helms went to Wake. Then I just checked how the other other schools Edwards attended did: He went to law school at UNC and they lost by 17. He spent his freshman year at Clemson and they won by 54. Edwards tried out for the Clemson football team and I think that's emblematic of why he's so successful. He's not afraid to take chances despite overwhelming odds and he's generally fearless.

I'd invite you to dinner here at Chez Jamastiene, but you seem to be immobile at the moment. Never fear. Here is my easy chicken and rice recipe:

What you need:
A can of Swanson Chicken Broth
A can of Swanson chicken
1 cup of rice
2 cups of water
a dash of salt
enough butter or margarine to taste
and
a teaspoon of Tobasco red hot sauce.

Cook the rice, just like you normally cook rice. Once you see "holes" in the rice where the water has boiled down, add the broth and the chicken and a tsp of hot sauce. At this point, you may want to add another small dash of salt, but not much. Cook until heated thoroughly and blow it before putting a spoonful in your mouth. It'll be hot. Serves 2. Adjust recipe for more or less people.

In the meantime, here is a :hug:. Too bad I can't come there and bring you a bowl. It'll be ready in about 30 minutes.

Besides, you can adjust a regular recipe to be vegetarian, can't you? I mean using tofu or something? I have always been curious about how many different ways people use tofu in place of meat. What do they replace margarine or butter with? I needs my artery cloggers now. :hi:

Seitan is a better substitute for chicken. For chicken broth, there's a packaged faux-chicken broth that's pretty good.

Butter's easy, all one has to do is use Earth Balance instead. It tastes great.
