We lost our power twice tonight. And we had 10+" of rain. |

Weird. Neither of us knew what to do, other than to get a lantern out and a mini-TV bought about 20 years ago. The beer stayed as cold as possible, but I think Mr. PITA needs a bigger TV for emergencies. Christmas is coming! We've lived here for about 13 years, and the power never went out like it did tonight, not even during Hurricane Rita last year.

I kept thinking, "Is this a tropical storm that we haven't been told about?"

2. Yes! That was (here) 20" in a week instead of 10 " in 2 days. |

I heard lots of stuff tonight, including that we are/were getting the tail end of a tropical storm. But it was intense whatever it was. I hope you did okay, Lady. :pals:

I was off work Sunday and worked 4pm-midnight yesterday, so I sat most of it out at home. Never even lost power.
