For some reason, hairdressers feel the need to come up with 'humorous' name for their businesses. Here are some I've seen:

Crops n' Bobbers
Buzz Off
Curl Up & Dye
Bow Locks (in the Bow district of London)
Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow.

Let's have your crappy stylist names here, please!

2. I don't know if it was the name of the place....
...or just writing painted on the window. As I was riding by this one place it said either, "Crop Yo' Top" or "Chop Yo' Top". One of those two.

It's not particularly witty, at least in a way that attempts to find humor is a play on words related to hair cuttery, but It's a great name none the less. It's a vintage 1950's hair salon in a predominately African American part of University City, MO.

La Glorie de la Femme.

Plus, it has a very cool vintage sign.

4. Hairport 77
:yoiks: Their decor was still 1977 even in 1997... My hairstylist used to rent a space there. When we bought our new house in 1998, I found a new stylist near my house.
