Did Frankenstein have a tail?
I was discussing this with my coworker and
he said Frankenstein had a tail.No way I said:"What...Frankenstein
didn't have a tail, that was wolf man".

Now Dracula did have a tail. That's a fact. Bat's gotta have a tail
so they don't flip over and all when they're flying.

16. No, he's still wrong!
Just me making an obscure Lon Chaney Jr. joke - so obscure I'm the only one who gets it. I just think of jr. as kind of, well, proto-human. No Frankenstein Monster I know of had a tail. This would have required special tailoring on the part of the good doctor.

17. BATS AREN'T BUGS!
(old Calvin and Hobbes line)

Bats have tails, but only little bitty ones, and they're not to keep them from flipping over :eyes:

That said, "Dracula" doesn't have a tail, any more than he has wings. Except when he's a bat. One might as well say "Wolfman doesn't have facial hair, because when he's a human, he doesn't"

Dracula: No Tail

(pretty sure Wolfman doesn't have a tail either)

18. No. Frankenstein was a normal human being.
No tail.

The monster, perhaps, though the book never makes mention of a tail, so I vote that the monster did not have one, either.

25. The original Frankenstein (monster) did indeed have a tail
Mary Shelley was tipping the hat to human evolution. I think the tail came from a dog.

28. Decent list, but
If the Mummy ever had a tail it would have fallen off. He was like half dirt and could not support the weight of a decent tail.

33. The original Frankenstein had a belly button
Along with the tail. Mary Shelley was quite specific that Frankenstein had a tube on. That doesn't make him a monster.
