I'm going to try! :bounce:

http://www.nanowrimo.org/

I mean to do this every year and this year I'm going to. You have no idea how many unfinished pieces I have laying around. This may be just the start to finishing something, as funny as that sounds. Most of all, it will be fun!!! :hi: :hi: :hi:

I've always wanted to write a children's book. I have created stories/characters with the help of his stuffed animals as a means to amuse and teach Dylan. someday i might just get around to it. :)

Have a fantabulous day! :loveya:

17. I keep meaning to, too
And I even signed up to do it once. I've got about 5,000 of the best words I've written...and it's just sitting there, waiting for me.

November is a HORRIBLE month for me to try something like this, what with Thanksgiving and starting the Christmas baking. I'm doing good to get my once-a-week flash workshop in.

Good luck...you can do this.

I've got two novels sitting here, waiting for me to rewrite them into something worth reading. And when I transferred my files to this computer, I moved 200 short stories alone and didn't get 'em all but...nanowrimo? I just can't. seem. to. do. it.

*sigh*

32. Do the outline!
Go ahead and do it after Oct. 31 (if you must, you nerd!) but things go so much better with an outline. You can always tell fiction that was not outlined and it always is a mess.

Did I mention to do an outline?

Good luck!

37. You can do this!
I did NaNoWriMo last year, I'm doing it again this year. I'm Strategerie.

The book I wrote last year became a 100,000 word novel that I'm just finishing the editing on. I'll be starting the next single-title contemporary romance at, oh, 12:01 AM November 1st. I'm looking forward to seeing more DU'ers on www.nanowrimo.org!

I have been thinking about this for three years. You are inspiring me. Maybe I should give it a serious try this year. It seems like there are always things getting in the way and other things that need to be done, so why not go ahead and do it despite the obstacles.

You have to have at least 50,000 words for a novel about the adventures of a group of beautiful, intelligent, amazing women...and Keith Olbermann!
