Know any composers?
They can win $1,000 and a performance of their work by The Columbia Orchestra in early June.
Deadline is January 8, 2007.
Details and application form can be found here:

1. My ex is a composer
but not full orchestra. His field is percussion.

(He arranged Barbar's Adagio for Strings for 16 marimbas.)

7. Adagio for Strings is my favorite piece
I get chills listening to the "original". I got to hear his marimba ensemble play his arrangement and the chills are there with that one too. I hope they record it sometime. If they do, I will let you know.

:)
