What time of day do you love your pet the most?
For me, it's evening. After dusk. My parrot stops making the usual clicks, beeps, and screeches and prefers to make cooing sounds instead.

How about you?

1. I love my pet all the time, but he doesn't love me in the morning
On days that I go to work. He is rather quite mean to the extent that if he was a rottweiler or other dog with such physical damage potential that we'd have to get rid of him or at least lock him up during that time.
He barks and growls at me. He'll attack me if I pet him.
When I come home, he is back to being a nice doggie, glad to see me.

2. Bedtime
As I turn out the lights, I say, quietly, "All dogs upstairs."

Whatever they're doing, they jump up and run upstairs, full tilt, and hop on the bed. By the time my teeth are brushed, the bed's toasty. :)

3. Mornings...
Pull out the running shoes or the mountain bike and I just love to see the excitement in their faces. It's kind of fun to mess with them too. Get the bike ready and then go lay down on the couch...it confuses the hell out of them.

Still, how can you not get ready to go exercise when your companions are SO excited to go too. It's sad on long run days where they can't keep up, so I have to leave them behind.
