3. Memories dude
I remember both of those stickers...

Do you remember the KLIV ones?

Ahhh the SF Bay Area in the 70's - I remember when this place had more of a hippie cowboy vibe to it...

5. I remember KLIV but not the stickers
And KFRC... Dr. Don Rose. Loved KYA, too. And I would've loved KSAN, but I couldn't pick it up. x(

I had a bit of a run-in once with Tawn Mastrey. I was talking late one night to Bob Coates (who'd earlier been Bob Michaels at KMBY) and I asked him why she seemed to know so much about Ronnie Montrose. He told me they'd dated for awhile and that he'd written "My Little Mystery" on his first solo album, "Open Fire," for her.

A couple weeks later I wrote a review of the album for my college paper and I mentioned what Coates told me. Somehow, Mastrey saw it, and she called me to bitch me out for writing about her private life. :eyes:

There was a rumor, too, that she was the faceless model on the cover of the last Montrose group album, "Jump On It."

Hey, remember BAM magazine? That's where I got a lotta this kinda stuff. :7
