Last year I had to re-purchase several bags of candy before Halloween, and this year I vowed to avoid that pitfall by waiting until today to buy most of it.

At least now, I can sleep knowing that all the candy bars with peanuts in them were safely extinguished!

3. I've only had one mini kit-kat as well.

There's a whole bowl left uneaten.

4. We do have a few dum-dums in the bowl, but they don't sing to me.

I'm also good at guilting myself into not eating any of the kids' candy, since it's THEIRS. I am, however, going to enjoy a few chips and some salsa for my evening snack!

6. Jason gave out a huge bowl of assorted goodies

and then started handing out my Kashi bars. Thankfully, he just turned off the porch light before handing out the whole Costco-sized box of those. There must have been an unexpected run in the neighborhood because someone else had resorted to cans of Pepsi.

7. I did have about five Charleston Chews

and a couple Tootsie Rolls, but only one of those tiny boxes of Junior Mints.
I think I will go see if there is anything else left.
