Do your local schools have Halloween parties or "Fall Harvest" parties?
Or do they even have any kind of party since they take up time that could be used to cram for state Standardized tests?

1. Our district's elementary schools all had Halloween parties and parades.
The middle school had a Halloween dance. I guess it's still ok to have a little fun before another round of testing cranks up next week.

2. Same with ours. Parties and parades.
I start the day admitting defeat. That way, when the sugar kicks in, I've already claimed the loser position. I just sit back and enjoy the chaos and mass pandemonium.
