If Klingons are supposed to be so tough...why are they always getting their ass kicked? HypnoToad...do you have any answers being a Star Trek geek also?

1. Because the producers were lame-brains who had no direction for their cash cow?

Bad joke.

In seriousness, I stopped watching Trek when TNG ended... I never got into DS9, Voy, or Ent... the few times I watched, the stories were recycled TNG (or TOS!) stories or just plain ridiculous. (e.g. the DS9 tribble story; funny how a Bajoran time orb send the Defiant through billions of miles of space as well as 100 years in time... sloppy. Convenient too. I'm not keen on retconning either. :D )

2. I kind of liked DS9
but it was afterwards when it was in syndication. I like that it is in the same place and they had elaborate story lines that they could follow for an entire season or two, but you are right it doesn't compare to TNG in the least. Sisko is no Jean Luc Picard.

3. Even shaving his head didn't help.
Buddum-ksh.

Seriously, though, Avery Brooks is a wonderful actor, but he was miscast in DS9, even more so than Patrick Stewart was in TNG.

5. I think DS9 is, by far, the best the series
I also think Janeway is the best Captain, with Picard a very close second.

4. That always bugged me too - Worf was supposed to be super-tough,
with his violent holodeck training programs and his travelling off to win galaxy-wide b'atleth competitions, but every single other character kicked his ass at one time or another... :wtf:
