Back from the vet's office |

the old queen was wheezing, doing some sneezing got a shot, she liked it NOT. She's just a bit congested and the meds she contested a squirt a day will keep the doctor away
seriously though, she's ok, we caught it early :hugs: to all of you who have given your good thoughts and concerns...

she has a "dry" congestion, might be due to the woodstove and the fact she curls up next to it when it's running. We stopped running the woodstove on Thursday night, wheezing pretty much stopped by yesterday
but she's 18 years old so we were concerned
she also has a heart murmur on one side only - this may clear up once the congestion clears, she'll go back to vet after she is done with the meds for a re-check on the murmur - if it's not better then she'll need some more meds to keep it in control
vet said that cats can "handle" murmurs better than dogs
meanwhile, she's batting a wood chip around in the kitchen - feels better already - lol
