3. That's election weekend

and I don't go south of the Canal in Delaware. Too many rednecks =(.

4. Who would think that a state as tiny as Delaware would be

so divided Red/Blue. Many years ago I did mall promotions, and worked at Christiana and Dover malls, and it was like two completely different regions, much less states.

7. I swear, if Delaware ever got divided...

...I think the northern half would go either to New Jersey or Pennsylvania and we'll give the Southern half to Virginia (which would take the whole lower part of the Delmarva pennisula)

8. You know, if we did that and we also split New Jersey into north & south...

a bunch of people would be made really happy and we'd still have 50 states, so no worries about the flag having to get changed.

I think that's a very good idea.

9. Yeah but Southern NJ is a bunch of Yokels, however......

You split NJ somewhere south of Philadelphia area and keep that is the New New Jersey. You morph Northern New Castle County (Wilmington) in Pennsylvania and you give the rest of Southern Delaware to Southern New Jersey

Of course the new state would end up in the "Red" column.

Maybe we'll just leave it as it is!
