RANT!
What the $%&$@#(* hell?!

Have you ever had an important conversation with someone, and it involves each other's personal opinions of family members (so it's a loaded discussion to begin with) and you can't come to an agreement? Of course you have, if you're married. If you're unfortunate enough to have married unwisely, God help you!

Well guess what... it can be worse! Yes! One party to these unpleasant conversations can have a faulty memory, so that they keep bringing it up, as if it's a new issue... and then they can make disparaging remarks about your family members, even after you gently inform you that it is THEM, and not YOU, who can't seem to remember the LAST time you'd both been through this $&#*!

:banghead:

If you are young, or unmarried, heed these words for your own sakes, PLEASE!

Marry in haste, repent at leisure.

2. I'm confused - do you mean that your spouse dislikes something about
a member of your family, and keeps harping it (without realizing that it's already been covered)?

That sounds pretty annoying. Actually, I'm sure it's annoying since I do this to my wife all the time (albeit not about family members - we are in perfect agreement about the jackasses we happen to be related to...)

3. If I had a partner who disparaged my family with lies, I'd dump her.
I sure wouldn't bitch about it on a worldwide public forum.

If I had a partner who disparaged my family with truthful statements, I'd love her all the more.
