So what is your TV Brain Candy?
I don't watch much television these days. I can't stomach what passes for journalism and detest commercials. But I will admit to tuning in to "Charmed" or "Highlander" if I'm burnt out and need a temporary lobotomy. "Friends" has nothing on unreality when compared with these two!

Best airplane flight I've ever been on was a Song flight with an "Ab Fab" marathon on BBC America. Worked better than valium.

the first 10 min. of John Stewart .

But, I watch a lot of movies (I just saw, and can recommend: A Simple Plan )

the TV I make time for tends to be:

Daily Show (2-3 times a week)
Colbert (2-3 times a week)
Olbermann (whenever I can, but especially on Special Commentary nights)
Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis
CNN Morning (what can I say, I love Soledad O'Brien!)

I really didn't think I would like and did not watch the first show. But my mom told me I had to catch the reshowing and I have been hooked ever sense. I'm willing to look past all the impossibles and can't waite to see how they develop all the story lines.
