Does anyone here watch Nip/Tuck?
It's gotten kinda ridiculous. It was always over the top but now its just too much. Stolen kidneys? Scientology? Yet another affair? Yet another pregnancy for that matter.

4. It always struck me as a rather mean-spirited show...
when I heard about the subject I mentioned in my previous post I knew I made the right decision in avoiding it.

5. I don't necessarily think so
I think it just looked at the dark side of human nature beneath beautiful facades. I like dark subject matter but it can go too far.

6. to a point, I agree
C. Troy...is like night/day...he can be so...well, helpful and sincere, but the other half comes in where he treats people(usually all women) like trash...its a weird mix...

7. I think he's more entertaining when he's an asshole
haha. It's kind of sad but I wish they wouldn't try to humanize him so much. A little bit goes a long way.

11. I think its more
like real life in some regards..I've known a lot of people who seem like they are night/day...C. Troy's night and day is very interesting to me, because I've never seen someone so callous to women, who had...well, some touching caring attributes...

I like his humanizing aspect, it grounds him...if he was all mean/callous I think he would lose the appeal...for me at least! If I want to see a butt head, I would watch Tucker!

10. No!
That's the other thing. He basically just hooked up with Kimber and turned to Scientology. This show is very bad about following story lines and having them randomly pop up

13. The first two are really good
I got into it during the second season which was excellent. In spite of my disappointment with this season, I feel that I've invested far too much effort into watching this show regularly to abandon it now. It's hard to let go
