We need a new boiler or we won't have heat this winter... |
|
and I know nothing about them. I'm at a loss as to where to start looking for info, because there are so many different kinds of boilers.
Any suggestions for websites, books, or other info sources would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to be at the mercy of salesmen.

7. I can't help with specifics but.... |
|
despite the trials and tribulations you will be going through, you will end up with a boiler that will be much more efficient, and hence cheaper to operate then what you had. It will be worth it in the end. Good luck. http://www.aceee.org/consumerguide/topfurn.htmhttp://www.aceee.org/consumerguide/topfurn.htm#most_boilers

That's what I'm hoping. The one we have is probably around 50 years old...maybe more.
