What qualities that the opposite gender is known for, do you wish you had?
For example, if you are a man, do you wish you had "women's intuition" because it would mean more certainty and less risk?
If you are a woman, do you wish you could lose weight as quickly as men can (because muscle burns calories so fast)?
If you are a man, do you envy the way women can compliment each other and confide in each other intimate secrets?
If you are a woman, do you envy the way men can temporarily suppress their emotions to get a difficult job done?
What do you wish you had that the opposite gender is "known for?"

1. reading that list is depressing
obviously i'm a man

i wish i had this women's intuition you speak of and my husband undoubtedly wishes he could burn calories as quickly as i do

i guess i wish sometimes that my outer packaging was more representative of the actual contents...but no i don't...i really just wish people still didn't believe this crap in this day and age

i'll go away now because everybody is just going to shout me down and it will be the same story of since their little girl was a screaming little pink-loving wussy from age 3 hours then all girls must be pre-determined to be girly from birth blah de blah de blah and i am just some kind of freak

5. Power
All I have is authority and the ability to inspire fear. Power recognized is so much easier.

6. I wish my back wasn't so hairy
Yeah, there are still women who like hairy guys, but I've yet to know of one who appreciated back hair! haha So I guess that's one particular "male" tendency I wouldn't mind not having to deal with. Also, as a shy person, I wouldn't mind not being the gender expected to initiate dates. That's never become comfortable for me. Really, though, I wish both men and women wouldn't judge people so much by what is expected of their gender. Much of the time I feel people simply behave in these ways because it is expected by society and not because it is what comes naturally to them. I feel like I'm a fairly well-balanced person (I'm neither overly "effeminate" nor overly macho) and hate having to worry about whether either men or women will judge me if I'm not behaving in a stereotypically "masculine" way.

8. More physical strength
A small part of my job is lifting bags and boxes that weigh about half my weight. This is strenuous for me. If I were male, I suspect that building and maintianing that type of muscle wouldn't be as difficult.
It would also be nice not to have to menstrate and go through monthly cycles.
It would be nice to wear normal clothes without worrying what kind of statement it was making about my body and whether people would be judging me as a prude or slut based on that.
It would be nice not to have to worry about being harassed or raped.
As far as psychological traits, I don't have "women's intution", although a friend pointed out that I really might but it gets messed up because I get so worried that I don't know what is what.

9. The men I respect have one quality that I wish I had...
They are rigorously intellectual.

They have the discipline to study something carefully, and make sound judgements afterwards.....

I know that I could do this if I really wanted to....

But I have never been able to pull it off........

I feel too lazy.......
