What do you think of Save the Males?
Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 02:43 AM by brensgrrl
Am I insane, or is this guy some kind of fool? Please look at his thinking and respond. He seems to think that
any woman who wants something more than sex with men is a "communist." Black people who are demanding their
rights as humans are also "communists."

Imagine this foolishness in the 21st century.

Sheesh. What do you all think?

Please feel free to let this guy know your opinions. He really needs to know that thinking MEN think he's a nut.

1. Masculinist movements are popping up everyewhere.
And a lot of them are fucking lunatics.

2. Small penis, anyone?
Barf. I can't read it beyond the third paragraph. Even the least "masculinized" males in our society are still capable of treating women like trash. We need fewer of these guys, not more.

So what's changed?

Damn those lesbians for destabilizing society! Jesus, I knew women's sufferage was a bad idea.

7. This guy has a PHD in English lit, believe it or not.
"Henry Makow is the author of A Long Way to go for a Date. He received his Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Toronto."

Another guy who just couldn't get laid, and blames women for that problem, rather than look at himself.

http://alongwaytogoforadate.netfirms.com/

"In the Philippines, Henry Makow, 48, discovered a tropical paradise where women are still traditional and the husband is the head of the household. A Long Way to Go for a Date is Makow's candid and ironic account of his courtship and marriage to a young Filipina (shown on cover.) The book recounts his quest for love and masculine identity at a time when both are under siege in America"

so, he has to go to a poor country to find a much younger woman who wants to leave poverty by marrying out of it? Imagine that.

8. The guy was born in '49 so...
he was raised during the 50's and 60's, so his formative years were a very conservative time. Sounds like he's blaming everything and everyone for his own failings with a dash of conspiracy theories. Hey, if you're going to delude yourself, you might as well go all out.

14. My husband was born in '49 - in Virginia
He turned out to be one of the most progressive men I have ever known.

This guy is delusional and yeah - absolutely wants to blame "everything and everyone for his own failings." Well said.

Interestingly enough he comments in his article about how growing up at the time he did left so many "immature". His own lack of ownership for his failures simply proves his point.

16. My husband was born in '42
He read part of that tirade, shook his head, walked away muttering "asshole". Age has little to do with it.

9. "The measure of a woman is not what she looks like but what she will do for you. "
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

But wait...there's more...

"Men love women who obey them."

"Gay behavior is often characterized by extreme promiscuity (100's of partners); anonymous sex (typified by the "glory hole"); wallowing in feces and urine; and sadomasochism."

At least he's in Canada. He won't need big, fancy insurance for treatment for what must be a form of insanity.

12. So wrong on so many levels
1) His initial ramblings about the CIA and Communist conspiracies set the tone for how I would read the rest of the article: guess I needed a good laugh today.

2) This guy is one of the worst writers I've ever read. I can barely follow his meandering ramblings. (Bet he thinks he's remarkably eloquent. Meh.)

3) What I can follow is he likes the words "power" and "possession". Of course it's male power and possession of the female. Natch.

4) This guy has had three unsuccessful marriages and his little lecture here is about what makes a successful (heterosexual) union. Uh, ok.

5) My husband was born in 1949 (the same year as this morAn). He somehow managed to escape the "confusion" the feminist conspiracy was supposed to perpetrate on him. Thank the goddess.

I hope she takes him for whatever's left of him.
What a TOOL!
(and I don't mean that in a nice, pre-feminist, way...)

Kept under strict control, of course.

And for the love of God everyone, that was :sarcasm:.
