5. Instead of focusing on trying to force yourself to sleep, try to
force yourself to stay awake. It's a cheap psychological trick known to make your mind more interested in sleeping than resisting sleep.

6. no I am awake now
because I got fired up to write a reply to a letter that attacked my last LTTE. I still may not be able to sleep. Plus my lazy lunatic of a boss was harrassing me about me not doing enough work.

7. My metabolism is so fast that eight hours of sleep....
Drains me where I don't have the energy to get out of bed. I have to keep water bottles and food on my bed. Without, I won't be able to get out of bed.

11. Yes.
I call it "hitting the wall" and either take a Vicodin or half a Halcion. I figure I need one good night's sleep every other week or so.

20. Yes.
I've been that way for the past 5 weeks.

Take right now, for example. It's 1:40 in the afternoon and I'm dead tired. I could honestly put my head down on my desk and fall asleep.

I will continue to be this tired until about 10 pm. At which point I guess my body just decides that it's never going to get the sleep it needs, because then I get almost hyper.

It's been this way for over a month. Dead tired all day, then can't get to sleep until after 1 am.

24. Yup. I've had sleep issues like forever.

The worst though is laying there, too hungry to sleep and too tired to eat.
