My dad is doing so very well. He has a case of gout, which is no fun...but he just got back from a trip to visit his grandbabies in CA. Thanks so much for continuing to care. He was overwhelmed by the support from DUers. He doesn't poke fun at me for it anymore. :hug:

13. He's doing well.

They increased his meds earlier this week when they took out his stitches. The studies on the efficacy of these drugs is irrefutable, but they make him exhausted. He simply can't do anything past 7PM. Even sitting with the little one and reading is so taxing for him.

The cardiologist says that the overwhelming exhaustion will go away, but it has been 5 months, so I've had to come to terms with it. Next week will be his first full week back at work, so I'm just going to hold my breath and pray.
