I did a total rehab of my house last year and I bought a handicap type toilet, its higher than average and oval shaped. To top it off, I installed an oak seat. I am also considering installing a urinal, now that would be sweet!

in my family. In each, the husband always threatened to install a urinal. "...Think of the water savings!"
Never happened, tho'. ;)

our house to be built next year and a urinal is a must. Now if I could just find one of those old toilets that actually works!

12. What do you mean by old? |

They have those old pull flush toilets, the ones where you lift the thing in the middle of the tank in the back to flush it, at Lowe's. They have a lot of really awesome antique type fixtures too. You're so lucky to be building a house exactly the way you want it. Good luck!! Duckie

If outdoors, I am permitted to pee anywhere on my property I choose. I'm in a rural area, no neighbors!

They don't cramp up your legs when you need to stay on them for a long, long time.

One is, m-m-m, vertically challenged. Then one's feet dangle an inch or two off the floor, and this is very uncomfortable. Or so I've been told. Are you heightist or something?

Most toilets are too short for the people sitting on them. Their legs cramp from being held at an unnatural angle for too long.
Some people do fine with the regular toilets. I like the taller ones.

And make sure it has some sort of regulator to insure the water is the temperature you are comfortable with.
Bidets are the BOMB! And any gal in your house will love you for it.

The seat would have hot water circulating through it.
Speaking as a male, nothing contracts the genitals as much as being exposed to a blast of cold weather in the general area to the point that "who can tell the difference."
