Update on my daughters (addiction) problem

I talked to her last night. She said she hasn't slept for several nights .

"It is my own fault mom" :cry:

She seems to be hanging in there .

I wish I could do more to help her through this

1. whats the addiction?

i would offer her a dose of niquil

she refuses anything that even LOOKS like a drug , Nyquil included

I am very proud of her resolve

5. Nyquil has dextromethorphan in it. Not something to be giving to someone in rehab.

It's a difficult process, not only for her, but for you too, but believe me, it's worth it. You might want to check out Al-Anon meetings, or do some reading geared toward family members of addicts. That could be very helpful in dealing with your own feelings, and also could help you better understand addiction.
