A question for girls who played with the 'Mystery Date' board game.
Q: Is it me or was the "Dud" the hottest out of the bunch.

The reason I ask is because I always thought he was the cutest. Naturally I had to keep my feelings to myself, what would those who wanted the guy with the dinner jacket and corsage think?

2. Geez, I had forgotten all about that game.
But now that you mention it, the I remember thinking that there was nothing wrong with the "Dud". His hair was messed up a little bit and shirttail was hanging out.

3. You're weird
like me.:-)

I always thought the "Dud" was the hottest one too. I told my older sister that and she told me I was weird.

5. I was thought the Dud
if he had worn a peace t-shirt would have won over anyone--he needed a shave was all.

Mr. Handsome in the Tux reminds me too much of the Animal House, Greg Marmalard. Who would want that guy, Mr. Greedy..

7. Yes, I always wanted the dud.
He was dressed like a painter on my board game. But he was definitely the cutest. In fact, the door on my board was a little bent and if I turned the knob just right, I was always sure to get him. :)

I also preferred GI Joe over Ken, btw.

12. Yep. Wrong Dud.
The early edition guy was much more dangerous/worldly looking and scruffy.

The Dud advertised on the commercials is in the middle--when I was growing up 1965-1970.

18. My mother's would be the first edition (I think...1965) and the only
guy who is the (relatively) same in that picture you have is the beach date. The other's are all different. The skier looks like Tab Hunter and is in a red sweater.

Until the geeky pocket protector one they were all the studliest 'duds' in the bunch.

28. I did in 2004 for Dean, and then Kerry...
I took a lot of getting up of courage. I reminded myself it was just a phone call, was very pleasant, and just reminded people to vote. I also worked the polls (counting voters) for MoveOn.. That was a bit rougher because a lot of repukes wanted to get us kicked out. Good luck! It's fun and you get to meet other dems!

29. I'm doin' it for my congressional candidate, David Gill
He is such a fine person. A real doctor who understands our health care system is broken.

I plan to try to get the script tomorrow night and practice a bit, but it helps to know his stance very well.

:hi: :kick:

19. The dud we had was named Poindexter, and he had red hair
and glasses. (We're talking the sixties here.) We all thought was a total geek, not at all good looking.
