Using a Dasani water bottle, a straw, some tin foil, and a knife... |
|
...I am attempting to use my cunning skills to make a homemade bong. Much better highs with bongs, I think.
Wish me luck, DU stoners!

1. You'll need chewed gum as well. |
|
Otherwise you'll just suck air!

I think I know what you're suggesting, and I intend to use some melted plastic to make it air tight.

4. The gum is the sealant for the straw. |
|
It flexes w/straw movement and spreads to seal the spaces in the hole between the straw and the bottle. Gums gotta be chewed first, though!

I was going to make it air-tight using melted plastic-- but your idea is more minty and delicious :)

It is this engineering feat, and a picture of my use of the final project, that will prevent me from running for any elected office. :)

We made a pumpkin bong every Halloween. It was wonderful.

9. Hooka style? Cause I think you'd have a big opening at the top. |

10. No, just a regular bong - |
|
we hollowed it out, making a small hole in the top for digging out the innards; I think we used like a piece of PVC pipe to shove into the hole, and I have no idea what we sealed it with - I'm thinking, since it was an engineering school, that we cut the hold in the punpking just small enough that it would make it's own seal when the bong top was shoved in.
and we had the bowl end of the bong and just shoved it through the side of the pumpkin. Then drew a face with markers, making the bowl a nose or a mouth.
And then had fun!

13. I find you cut out a hole in the cap, place tinfoil over it and put some |

little holes with a knife in it. then put some holes in the side of the bottle toward the top. add some h20 to the bottom of the bottle, pack the cap, add heat and then you just suck the side of the bottle. easy as pi ;)
