Do you have a web site?
I'm sure this is a thread that has been done on the lounge time and time again, but with my life (3 small boys and a church) I'm not a reliable constant around here. I noticed someone posted that question elsewhere at DU with the recommendation to include a GOTV message with a link to how to find your polling place. Maybe I'm strange, but I would think registered voters would know where their polling place is two days before the election. Wait. I know I'm strange. I find it odd when people don't even know who their Rep is or how he/she voted on the latest controversial legislation. Someone tell me again why everyone isn't a politics junkie?

Anyway, that post did get me to wondering. I know we have some incredible artists here and dynamite bloggers with sites. So I'm curious. Do you have a website and what's it about?

Mine is niche. My website used to have heavy political content, but when I began marketing to do weddings and other ceremonies I moved the political content to an unrelated blog.

http://www.brevardminister.com

Yes, I know personal information including contact stuff is on my site, but really, these days can we remain completely anonymous? I give up being an one-line woman of myster.

7. There, there. Don't be so hard on yourself.
I have a cousin who has to be MUCH worse.
And she has a PhD.
She's such an easy mark that her brother and I have recently agreed to quit with the pranks.
She's just too sweet to be tormented.

Not the first time Omphaloskepsis has helped out with my site though, he helped me learn CSS and XHTML when I was converting my layout from tables.

What exactly would be needed to be done for that? (Been so damn long since I've had a domain name, haha.)

9. What a good looking family. 3 boys. Whoa!
How do you cope?
My daughter has only one, and he's a double handful.
And a W&L grad.
I'm doubly impressed.
Beautiful campus, architecture, and the chapel (is that right?) is inspiring.
Even for this old jaded heathen.
;-)

Like your website.

10. Hmmm... questions in order.
How do you cope?

** CHARDONNAY.. Just kidding. They are great guys!

My daughter has only one, and he's a double handful.

** I've been told it gets easier as they get older and the parents of daughters start to feel the pressure. Geez, I hope so!

And a W&L grad.

** Best time of my life! Got my MRS degree there too. ;)

I'm doubly impressed.

** Yikes, not sure you should be. Didn't quite make cum laude. One too many frat parties?

Beautiful campus, architecture, and the chapel (is that right?) is inspiring.

** Yes, Lee Chapel is quite nice. I fell in love with the architecture of the campus when I visited as a high school senior. Barely recognize the place now.

Even for this old jaded heathen.

** LOL! This jaded old heathen still thinks Chartre Cathedral is one of the most awe-inspiring places on earth.

27. That sermon was several years ago.
I just had to pull up my notes to refresh my memory. I'm between death-fascination ages with my kids right now so it hasn't been a frequent topic lately. The sermon was actually addressing adults and how to provide them with the resources to help children deal with death.

However, I do work with kids in times of crisis. Mostly natural disasters such as hurricanes or unexpected death due to accident. The children I work with run the full range of childhood. 3-16ish. I specialize in counseling boys and helping them break through our society's Boy Code that blocks their ability to express their pain and has them release it in anger and destructive behavior.

36. Brainshrub.com - Political blog with counterpoints for critical thinkers.
Brainshrub.com is an experimental political blog with counterpoints for critical thinkers, and, a journal for my own activism. The goal of this site is to see if a blog can be more than a just place to rant at strangers or an ATM for political candidates.

The underling question I am attempting to answer is: "How much social change can one person, armed only with a blog, accomplish?"

To find out, this site not only features "normal" blog posts, but also special projects, audio interviews, experimental writing styles and guest bloggers.
