(whine) I don't want to do my Physical Therapy stretching!
I know I need to- but I'm too tired and grumpy. And I also don't want to get up.

Should I skip a night, or should i do what i can from this position?

Series questions!!!1! here, folks! :-)

try not to use being tired as an excuse too often, because I think being tired is just a given for a lot of people with busy lives, especially us gals. Notice how often when you do things such as exercise, or your therapy, despite feeling tired, you not only make it through but very often don't feel as tired afterwards, and you feel better for having done them. I think the exception is when your body is bone-weary, physically exhausted - then it's time to take a break. :)

12. You were SO right.
Glad I did some stretching last night- feeling less pain-addled and slighly more flexible!

3. Don't bother - a lifetime with a limited range of motion is a small price
to pay to avoid 20 minutes of inconvenience...

(I'm kidding - do the freakin' exercise, already!)

5. They hurt, they take too long, and you'd rather be doing other things

instead. But if you don't do them then you're going to look back, kick yourself, and say "Why the $@#!% didn't I just do my damned stretches!"

Do your stretches.

8. True.
I've just had an awful weekend, and this certaiinly will not make it better. However, hitting the percocet before starting may be a decent compromise- that way I won't be in awful pain...

9. Percocet is your friend.
And so is a long bath afterwards.

11. owwwww.
I always forget that certain muscle groups are tighter at various times, and that pain/range of motion in stretching is never the same between any two sessions of going through the list of things to do.

I don't think I'm going to make the bath. The bed looks better than the bathtub. sleep is my friend.

night!
