Any fans of Harry Shearer here?
www.harryshearer.com - streaming audio of his radio shows, which are on some public radio stations

He also did some of the voices on The Simpsons

The song "If U Want Free Speech, Go To Russia" is him.

3. Derek Smalls & Harry Shubb & Principal Skinner &...
Ned Flanders & Dr Hibbert...

Had two very funny stints on SNL, too.

Harry's right up there with Christopher Guest, in my book - genius!

6. just saw him

along w/ Christopher & Michael @ the Dean Rally @ House of Blues on the 15th. They performed as 'The Folksmen' and Shearer was in a denim skirt w/ matching vest, red print shirt and a fetching kerchief tied daintily @ his neck. The transformation was completed w/ a auburn pageboy wig and sensible flats. I have yet 2 C 'A Mighty Wind' but some one explained 2 me that Shearer's confession @ the end was 2 B a woman so evidently the character has advanced. All this was enhanced by Rob Reiner, the evening's MC, conducting a mini 'interview' @ the end of their set. It was brilliant! and appreciated by the audience.
