I'm just amazed, my county has passed a resolution stating their intention is to make their website work only with IE. My suspicion is lazy IT guy. Any other possible reason?

Maybe Bill Gates promised them some extra Vista upgrades if they would force everyone to use their crappy browser (and probably other M$ programs).
Though a lazy webmaster certainly could be part of it.

acheiving ADA-compliance in all possible browsers, so they're playing CYA by officially offering only one type of service/support? (Actually, this idea is the same as lazy/incompetent IT guy.)
