I feel so out of the loop with all these popular teevee shows!
The only thing I watch with any regularity is the Office. Sometimes I catch an episode or two of Miami Ink after class in the evening. I just don't watch much tv. My husband downloaded episodes of the British series "Robin Hood," and I've watched it a bit, because one of the guys on the show is YUMMY as hell. I can't be alone- who else feels like they're out of step with popular culture in this regard?

1. Me. I never watched Sex in the City until it ended
and I still don't get what all the hoopla was about. Same with Ally McBeal.

I do watch Desperate Housewives and Lost, but only because the teens want to as well.

2. That's a common phenomenon, once a series has ended.
For example, 12 years ago I used to like Friends, but now I think it's boring.

3. I don't watch TV at all, really, except for "Seinfeld" reruns.
(Which I watch faithfully pretty much every night.)

Sometimes I'll watch the news, or, if I'm getting sick of Seinfeld, either Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy!

Oh, and if I remember and don't have too much work to do, I'll watch my buddy Keith Olbermann. :loveya:

But as for "popular" shows--the last one I watched was West Wing. I just don't follow TV that well--I'm an internet and CD junkie.

4. My New Year's resolution a few years ago was actually to watch more TV
I failed miserably, btw.

5. I haven't owned a TV in decades, so no worries-- you're not alone....
People talk about television entertainment like it's an integral part of American culture, but those of us without TVs have no idea what all the fuss is about.

10. Today I've spent the morning with Scooby Doo in the background,
and Sophie vomiting profusely since about an hour and a half ago. It's a jubilee of wonder and awe, around here.

7. Me too
I used to be a tv junkie. I'm clueless on all the new shows now.

I do watch Weeds, Dexter, Dead Like Me, and Miami Ink (isn't Ami just a hottie?? an ass, yes, but oh so nice to look at. lol)

8. I'm with you... except for the yummy guy part.
I don't watch anything on regular TV anymore.

I've gotten spoiled to NetFlix. I watch only what I really want to see. I've never had HBO, but I follow a few of their series on DVD. They also have lots of good documentaries, how-to's (though not enough), etc.

There's literally not one single TV show I watch on regular TV, and I really don't miss it.

12. Only on DVD now.
I grew up a teevee junkie. Then in the mid-70's I drifted away. Now I'll watch a couple programs on DVD. I don't feel that I've missed anything.

13. Me. Definitely.
I've never seen a single episode of things like Sex and the City or American Idol or Survivor or Project Runway or Allie McBeal or...or...or...

I have very few programs that I watch regularly -- baseball in the summer and then, through the winter, well, not much. I like Desperate Housewives sometimes, but it doesn't take much to get me away from it. Last night, for example, I got distracted cleaning the hamster cage.

I'd be lost around a water cooler, I guess.

Good thing we don't have one at work, isn't it?
