Youtherekid is sick..

My 7 year-old. She's throwing up and has the scoots. She feels like crap. My poor baby.
I always eat soda crackers when I get like that, but she can't even keep those down.
Poor kid.

Doc says clear fluids, then the BRAT diet (bananas rice applesauce toast).
The real sucky part is that it's only a matter of time before the other two youtherekids get it.
Rats.

3. My son is home with the pukes today, too.

I threw up a couple nights ago after reading a few old posts. At the time I thought it was a response to what I was reading, but now I guess it was illness and not disgust :) Here's hoping your other kids are spared, and you too!

4. I empathize, honey!

My middle one's had a bad sore throat for a couple days and started horking, this morning. I totally understand both your pity for the afflicted, and your profound fear for the rest of the household!

Hopefully both our little peeps feel better asap, and the spread of their ickies is nonexistant!

Last time we had this bug in our family all three had it at the same time. The vomiting was in surround sound...not pleasant.

6. I hope youtherekid feels better soon. OVCOgrandkid is home today sick too.

She had a bad headache and stomach ache this morning. I took her temp and it was 99.9 so I called her Mom at work and she said keep her home. She's been snoozing most of the day but woke up when her Mom came home early from work and surprised her.

Poor kids..must be something going around.

I think it's just this time of year in the midwest. It gets cold and damp followed by several days of warm..perfect for incubating all sorts of airborne nasties.Sigh. Hope the little ones are feeling better soon!
