Don't you hate it when you finally get it...you've finally figured out, but it's too late...she's gone? I have been crying so much for the past three weeks that my eyelids are swollen to the size of golfballs. I had to leave work early today because I couldn't stop crying. I don't know if I am going to recover from this one. :-(

I've been there before, and I know how impossible it seems that you will ever feel better. I also know it really doesn't help for people to say, "Time will heal this wound", but darlin, it really WILL. You WILL feel better a month from now, and even better 6 months from now, and unrecognizably better a year from now.

Don't hesitate to lean on your loved ones, and ask for professional help if you need it. :hug:

5. One Year Later

And I still miss him. It gets easier with time. Trust me on this. You will get over it and think of the ex as just that. An ex. My gawd.........I tried all sorts of things to help me get over the ex. I turned into a total slut looking for sex everywhere I could find it. And what did that prove? Absolutely nothing. A friend finally told me that I needed to slow down and just "get over him". I did. I still think of him daily, but it gets less painful with each passing day.

I hope you can get over this. I've been there and am sending you good vibes LA Woman. Be cool and don't let the bad shit get you down.

I'm eight months into the saddest loss of my life and I'm permanently scarred and maimed, older, wiser and frankly, half dead. But I don't any more wish for the man in question; that's something. I hope with all my heart that you find the strength to deal with your heartache without losing too much of yourself. As wonderful as she may have been, you too are wonderful. Take care. :hug:
