the other day, I was stuck in street traffic, waiting for the signal to change. While waiting, I watched people walk past, faster than I was moving. At one point, a man brushed past a young woman and appologized for bumping her. She kind of nodded and continued, but the man noticed something else, she had dropped money out of her pocket. He stopped and called to her. She turned around and he said, you dropped your money. She walked back, saw the money she had dropped and picked it up. She then treated all who were watching to the biggest, brightest smile I've ever seen..and said.."Thank you so much". The man just said, "no problem, have a good afternoon" and went his way. The young woman, still smiling, watch him for a few more seconds, and then turned and headed back in the direction she was originally going. As I finally drove past her, I glanced over and saw that she still had that smile. That man had made her day, and her happy smile made mine. Just thought I'd share a random act of kindness. We don't see them often enough.
