I was drenched just walking into work from the parking lot. It's supposed to be the same tomorrow, but with (even) more wind.

7. Yes, we get them in San Diego. I much prefer the cold storms from Alaska.

The cold storms dump snow in the mountains, creating a winter wonderland. The pineapple express merely dumps rain (which we desperately need, but I'd rather have it be cold rain).
