Hope I can sleep tonight
I need to turn the tv off and back away from the computer. I feel as though I'm going to come out of my skin.

I can't wait til tomorrow's over.

1. You've described it perfectly! "...going to come out of my skin."
That's it exactly.

4. If someone yelled "BOO!"
It'd take me three days to come down from the ceiling. :scared:

Wine maybe?? I'll share!

Hopefully, I can wake up early to vote instead of doing it after work as originally planned.

2. When I'm king of the world, election season will be 60 days long.
Announce candidacy; 30 days then primaries. Then 30 days to the general election. And I will mandate that each candidate gets exactly the same amount of air time on TV and radio. All ads will have to be reviewed by me (or my minions) for accuracy and tone. I will smite anyone who breaks a rule. Hard. :)

10. Hi Sweetie!!!
Wish you were home. :( Bandit's in the barn for the night. I'm working at the shop tomorrow night getting more stuff ready for the open house this weekend. I plan on bringing the tv with me.

I *was* going to the county democratic office for the party starting at 7:00 but working is better. I'm closer to finally getting that cabinet...

Love you sweets!

35. thanks... :-)
that's not it though :D

I am anxious but I also see the light at the end of the tunnel. I haven't felt this way about an election in a long long time. Needless to say I was sick to my stomach in 2000, 2004, and 2006.

I see the middle has come back to our side and that will make the difference. There will be voting 'issues' but I don't think they'll be able to get away with all of it this time.

We'll see in about 24 hours!!

My sister is having surgery tomorrow so that is distracting me too, but the tide has turned. It's not close enough for them to steal it on a large enough scale to get away with it.

It'll be a good day.

We are going to be fine. Dont listen to all these polls supposedly showing the GOP gaining ground. They havent done a damn thing in the last week to encourage their base. Im not sure if we win the Senate, but I'll be shocked if we win less than 20 seats in the House..Speaker Pelosi, dont that sound good!!!

42. It sounds wonderful
I was a poll worker in Ohio in 2004. It was a nightmare for the workers and even more of one for the voters. I'll never forget seeing the lines stretched around the blocks and that cold rain.

A positive outcome tomorrow should put those memories to rest for a while.

Thanks...

:)
