Why can't Philadelphians call their city by its proper name? I know it's a long name, but people in Minneapolis (same number of syllables) don't call their town "Minnie." What if this becomes a trend? People in Elizabeth, NJ would be from "Lizzie." It might become worldwide. London would be "Lonnie" and Moscow would be "Mossy." Paris would be "Parry." Baghdad would be "Baggie."
