From Free Republic, Re: Earthlink mail servers down:

EARTHLINK E-MAIL servers down. Could it be a conspiracy to slow republican trend??? Just a thought. Any thoughts or info on it? I would not put it past the dems based on their history for voter fraud.

RATS will stoop to anything. I hope there are plenty of Republican poll watchers, because I am sick and tired of RATS stealing elections with phony votes.

How can we steal elections, when we were the ones who lost?

1. To be fair
I had heard that Democrats do have a history of voter fraud. But it is the Republicans that have been doing it lately, and have taken it to another level.

4. To be accurate,
The "voter fraud" you heard about is probably the 1960 election where it's been rumored (and only rumored) that the mafia did Joe Kennedy (JFK's dad) a favor by "raising the dead" - i.e. somehow managing to get the votes of dead people counted.

That's "voter fraud" - where the voter is the one committing fraud.

The Republicans have a recent history of "election fraud" - the Diebold machines changing votes, voter intimidation, systematic disenfranchisement of entire classes of voters, etc., etc. since 2000.

5. Well Lyndon Johnson did steal the 1948 election for Senator
That mysterious ballot box that suddenly appeared. Historically at least it has run both ways. They used to just BUY votes. $5 and a shot of tequila really did wonders for turnout.

6. I do recognise that the Repubs have reinvented election fraud
and that what is happening now does not compare with what went on before.
