4. I'm not a cavewoman but I HATE those ads. |
|
They were never funny or entertaining. And they wouldn't make me switch my insurance either.

5. Cavemen didn't outlast the dinosaurs. |
|
Dinos died out 65 million years before the first homo sapiens shuffled onto the scene. Oh, and we rarely lived in caves, either. Too damp. Give us some credit for sense.
It is just these kinds of unhelpful stereotypes that hurt 'cavepeople' in all walks of life.
Remember, the Flintstones was not a documentary series.

13. It's true.... such blatant Cavism is utterly repugnant... |
|
... and no, indeed... the Flintstones was Endemol's first attempt at a reality tv-show...

10. Can someone please explain their current commercial to me? |
|
I must really be a neanderthal because I don't get it. The cave man is looking at a poster or picture of himself in an ad, and is also talking on a phone to someone. He says, "Four by five. Well, I guess not, because I'm looking right at it." I just don't get the point.

11. because they take offense at the logo |
|
"so simple a caveman could do it". they think it makes them sound stupid, the 'so simple' part. And that ad is so not four feet by five feet, it's more like three feet by five or six feet (that part bugs me).
