1. My moods change throughout the day
but essentially, big picture and all that, Yes, I am happy in my life.

Why? Because I choose to be. :D

4. Yeah, very happy.
I have two kids that are college graduates, my wife and I are doing well, I am eligible to retire from the military and start a new career, which is exciting, and I don't have to move anymore, so our youngest daughter won't have to switch schools anymore, and will graduate from the same high school that she started in.

I have no complaints, except for the one at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

6. Right now I'm way happy, and way scared.
I think I might have to go on a rampage if the Rethugs somehow end up on top.

:grr:

7. This is probably not a good day to ask me.
I think my Lexapro dosage may not be strong enough.

I barely slept all weekend.

It's election day.

Many other things.

Let me put it this way - I'm not unhappy, but neither am I operating at my normal, optimal level of contentedness.

11. You and me both, L-W.
My doc doubled the dose of one of my meds and told me to take more of another PRN. I'm going to the xanax more often in the last few days, too. Anxiety sucks.

And worrying about Cardin/Steel and O'Malley/Ehrlich doesn't help.

We WILL retake the House. At least Rick (the "P" is silent) Santorum will be defeated, but it would be really nice to retake the Senate. We can hope.

HOPE is the key.

8. Depends
Most of the time...I try. I do what I can because, in the end, I'm the only one who can determine whether I'm truly happy or not.

Some days are harder than others.

10. Yeah, mostly.
But i am on drugs most of the time so......

Why not be happy. I have two wonderful supportive ladies. I have two grown kids that turned out far better than i. My youngest daughter is on the honor roll. My youngest son.......well lets just say i love him and leave it at that lol! And despite being pretty poor i have the important things and my bills are paid.

13. Happiness over the long term? Yes.
I have my health, my family and kids, a job, a roof over my head, and I am working at doing that which I love.

But day-to-day it can be hard and I have moments that I would say are less than happy...

17. I'm neither as happy as I once was nor as sad as I've been
recently. I'm looking forward to improvement, that's for sure.

19. these days
I'm just me. Not unhappy, not happy. Just getting through the days and hoping for sunshine. I have a loving husband, a son, stepson, a beautiful daughter in law to be and a precious granddaughter. I am rich in many ways. Happiness ... I am just sad a fair bit of the time and when I figure out why, I'll fix it.

21. No. I am resolved to be curmudgeonly and miserable for the rest of my life.
Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I think I'll go eat worms. :P

(I really should have to put this :sarcasm: but I will anyway)
