What is this UFO glob growing in the weeds of my back yard?

It's about 6" x 4", appears to be attached (rooted?) to the ground, appears that weeds are either growing OUT of it or THROUGH it. Weird weird weird. Will be gone for awhile running around, including to a nursery to ask THEM!!!1
