Fucking piece of shit red state assholes who probably beat their children and steal from their mothers are so FUCKING scared of having their sacred marriage vows threatened by those damn gay people... I AM SO FUCKING SICK OF THIS PLACE :nuke:

I have made a vow to myself that if that no good, racist piece of shit George Allen wins tonight, on top of this ridiculous fucking marriage amendment, I will do whatever it takes to move out of this hellhole ASAP

5. Everyone I know voted against it
I guess I should have known better to have even a glimmer of hope that it wouldn't pass in THIS state tho

9. It's gonna be close.
Hell, there's a decent chance that this thing may go down in flames.

3. This is why I will never live in Virginia.
Never, never, never. The only advantage I can see is being able to vote against some of the assholes in what I call Scary Virginia (anything more than a couple miles outside the Beltway). Wonder if Rita Mae Brown still loves Virginia after they've made it triple clear that she is a second-class citizen in their eyes.

7. I'm alternating between blind fury and sadness
One minute I'm ranting and raving and seeing red, then I turn around and become extremely sad that people really ARE that damn homophobic in this state :-(

8. For the eejits
The fundies are afraid that if they get drunk, they'll wake up the next day married to some "goddamn fag". I'm sure they offered that amendment to drawout the hypocrites to vote for KuKluxMacaca.

...doesn't Virginia need to change their motto to "The State for Haters"?

I'm so sorry!

14. I'm beginning to think you're right about that
The fact that George Allen is in the lead right now and the marriage amendment has pretty much already passed speaks volumes :(

13. We had one of those dumb things pass here in Texas.
Surprise! Not! And our asshole of a governor signed the damn thing in a church. Separation of Church and State? Nah, not with repukes in office. Digusting. What they need to do is protect marriage from lying, republican, closeted, meth freaks like Haggard.
