Crazy-ass day

Husband's volunteering at polls. So I:

Prepped kid for school
Took him to school
Talked to his teacher
Dropped off dog at doggie day care
Went to a meeting a work
Did some operational requests
Went to another meeting
Went to my previous home's precinct to vote
Picked up my dog
Did some more work
Made a pile of phone calls
Wrote a pile of emails
Picked up my son
Took him to tennis
Took him to gymnastics
Signed him up for winter-break gym camp
Went home, made myself some dinner
Chatted with a friend online
Now I'm going to get him
He'll do some reading, have a bath, and go to bed.
I sure could use a stiff drink while he's doing that.
