Democrats win every statewide office in Illinois

I'm very happy to be living in one of the bluest of states. :-)

Well, I should say that I'm not *thrilled* about Blagojevich but it's better than having that barfly Topinka be the governor.

And I live in Lake County which was always red. It sure has turned purple! I'm sad that apparently Dan Seals didn't beat Mark Kirk.
It's a close race and Seals didn't concede yet, but Kirk was 7,000 votes ahead last time I checked. Overall though, I am very happy since I vowed yesterday not to be over confident. :hi:

4. The only thing that upsets me are Congressional races.

Dems didn't win ANY of the tossup districts I thought they would. :( What the hell is wrong with people? This state hates Bush and Topinka but loves its CORRUPT congressmen. WTF?
