It's all LynneSin's fault...
That I have a headache. She put the notion of tequila in my head.

No, stop drinking. You've had too many already. I hope that I just planted a nasty earworm in your head, an earworm so foul that you forget all about that headache.
:D

2. Actually, the Advil kicked in.
I'm young enough and Irish enough that my hangovers tend to be very short.

6. I remember those days.
I never had a hangover until I was in my late twenties, and not for lack of trying. The bad news is that the "Irish enough" part seems to dissipate with age too.

3. I was just about to agree that it was LynneSin's fault,
and to add that you had a hand in it too, and then I noticed it was your post anyway. Glad the Advil's working. I had icecream instead of alcohol and am feeling no pain :P

4. Ice cream is far less fun.
My liver may disagree, but alcohol is way better.

5. So true.
I'll make up for my failure to indulge come this weekend. I'm going out wearing an "I Voted Democratic" banner to see if I can get into more trouble than usual. I know at least a couple of guys who never leave me alone who will be eating crow and drowning their tears in the bottle this weekend

7. I feel your pain...
last night included several beers, half a bottle of Irish whiskey and a glass of champagne after the House going Democrat became official.

:hangover:

But, like you, I am young and Irish. I had an extra-large coffee this morning, and I'm doin' OK.

8. Yeah, I love my ability to wake up feeling like death, pop some advil & coffee...
and feel normal in 20 minutes or so.
