Microphone Thief Arrested At President Bush Rally

PENSACOLA, Fla. -- A Pensacola man is in trouble for allegedly stealing a microphone used at President Bush's rally there.

Police said a reporter for WEAR TV had placed the wireless microphone on a power box behind a group of protesters during Monday's rally. When he went back to get it, the microphone was gone.

To find it, the camera operator turned up the audio on his camera while an officer walked among the protesters saying, "Can you hear me now?" They then stumbled upon a backpack on the ground. Another officer earlier had spotted Donald Yeo putting something in the backpack.

Yeo was arrested outside. He was charged with grand theft and later released on bond.
