50th Anniversary of WIZARD OF OZ on TV

November 1956, the Wizard was first shown on commercial TV. TBS is having a Wizard of OZ fest this weekend showing it Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

What a great hunk of Americana. My wife is from Kansas and we have OZ paraphernalia all over the house.
